The University of Malta’s Faculty of Laws is organising a public seminar entitled Child Trafficking and the Law on May 15 from 10am to noon in Room 216 at the Dun Mikiel Xerri Lecture Centre, Msida Campus.

During the seminar, second year LLB (Hons) students, the majority of whom are visiting the University from other European countries as well as the US, will give brief presentations that address action plans against child trafficking currently in force in their own respective country.

The student presentations conclude with recommendations based on their research findings. The public seminar will also include Her Story by Anna Malika, a visiting student from the US and policy and survivor advocate.

The seminar will be inaugurated by Prof. Kevin Aquilina, dean of the Faculty of Laws, and coordinated by Prof. Frances Camilleri-Cassar.

Students, academics and the public are invited to attend.
