• The next Malta Adlerian Psychology Association meeting will be held April 29 at 6.30pm at Le Meridien Hotel, St Julian’s. Joyce Callus will be delivering a talk about family concepts seen from an Adlerian perspective.

• The band commission within Our Lady of the Lily Band Club of Mqabba will be holding its annual Easter concert the participation of band, under the direction of Mro Andrew Calleja.

• The Ramblers’ Association is holding a lecture on Wednesday at 4pm at Europe House, St Paul Street, Valletta, entitled The Names of the Valleys of Malta, to be delivered by Simon Salafia.

The aim of the lecture is to give a general idea of the place names of all the valleys in Malta. The speaker will explain the methodology adopted in this study of over 400 names of researched valleys and indicate the more important sites in the vicinity of the valley.

• The annual general meeting of the Royal Malta Artillery Association will be held at the Catholic Institute in Floriana on April 26 at 10.30am. Prior to the meeting, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the RMA Memorial, also in Floriana, at 10am.
