The Malta Tourism Authority will be presenting a commemorative programme on Sunday to mark the granting of the George Cross to Malta on April 15, 1942.

The programme will be held on Sunday at St George's Square, Valletta at 7.15 pm.

It will feature displays by the bands of the AFM and the police, a display by the Malta police Silent Drill Team, a 15-minute feature film about wartime Malta and a concert by Paul Abela Big Band  featuring pre-war and war tunes. PRE-WAR and WAR TUNES.

The event ends at 9.15 pm. Admission is free. Seating will only be available if pre-booked on tel: 22915445.
