The 13th edition of the three-day International Fireworks Festival was launched today by Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis.

The festival, organised by the Tourism Ministry and the Malta Tourism Authority will serve as part of the celebrations to commemorate Malta’s 10th anniversary of EU membership.

It will include the participation of a number of Maltese fireworks factories as well as companies from Austria, France, the United Kingdom and Italy.

The first day of the festival will be celebrated in Marsaxlokk on April 25. The festival will move to Bugibba on the 26th and to Grand Harbour in Valletta on April 30.
