I would like to thank Clint Grech for replying to my letter about the park-and-ride shuttle services.

Things are now clearer but how could I know such facts if there are no notices telling passengers what number leads to where and when? These days, departments tend to use their websites for people to find the desired information without realising that not everybody is computer literate or owns one. The old-fashioned way of placing notices in prominent places still needs to be used.

By the way (this has nothing to do with the subject but I think it is important); drivers seem to be going back to the bad old days. Gone is the smart look when they worked with Arriva. Now many are looking scruffy, even reporting for work unshaven. I’ve been on buses where the driver never stopped talking to a friend, talked for a long time on his mobile phone, and once even enjoyed his lunch while driving.

Don’t these irresponsible people realise that there is the safety of their passengers at stake?
