Journalist-turned politician Charlon Gouder says that rather than being labelled as a militant, he preferred to be seen as a fighter for the people’s needs.

The Labour MEP candidate told timesofmalta.com that he was enjoying the electoral campaign because it brought him closer to the people, and they got to know him as he got to know them.

Mr Gouder said he wanted to see a social Europe for the people, a Europe of opportunity, not austerity.
