Gozo 2014 is a manipulated work of art by Umberto Buttigieg of an original print of Mġarr, Gozo, designed by Paul Camilleri Cauchi for the first world congress of the former students of Don Bosco held in Rome in 1988. It is one of the works displayed in a collective exhibition, entitled Heart of Gozo – Scenes of an Island, by artists Anthony Caruana, Christopher Saliba, George Scicluna, Jörg Böttcher, Justin Falzon, Maria Cassar, Mark Sagona, Paul Stellini, Rachel Galea, Toni Mizzi, Victor Agius and Vincent Caruana. The exhibition, which is being held at Il-Ħaġar Heart of Gozo museum and cultural centre in St George Square, Victoria, gives an overview of how contemporary artists in Gozo interpret their surroundings in their artistic works.
