On March 31, while on bus 222, which was full of tourists, a black man boarded at St Paul’s Bay.

The passenger presented €10 for payment. The driver flared up and got extremely abusive. He even tried to get the passenger to leave the bus and then turned back to St Paul’s Bay for help from the two inspectors there.

The passengers looked on in amazement because such abuse from the driver was not necessary.

Back to the bullying tactics on Malta transport and this is not a one-off incident. I call this discrimination.
