Opposition leader Simon Busuttil said today that he would sue l-orizzont over a front page article which, he said, was a lie aimed at helping Joseph Muscat.
The story was about income which the newspaper claimed was not declared by Dr Busuttil in the declaration of assets of MEPs some years ago when he was an MEP and director of a law firm.
Dr Busuttil said the newspaper had linked up with Dr Muscat in a dirty mud-slinging campaign.
He published the audited accounts of ERCS Ltd to show that he never earned the astronomical sums which the newspaper claimed.
