BUSUTTIL. On April 1, at Karin Grech Hospital, Mgr Joseph Busuttil, BA(Hons), LicD, PhD, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.  He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Mary, widow of Edgar Spiteri Staines, Helen, Tessie and her husband Dr Salvatore Sortino LLD, Lina, Bessie, his brother Victor and wife Antonietta, his nephews and spouses Tony and Tracy, Cyril and Claire, pro-nieces Nicole, AmyCarole and Marie, and other relatives in Malta and abroad.  He also leaves to mourn his colleagues, clergy and laity at the Diocesan Curia, the clergy at St Julian’s parish, and other friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow for St Julian’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

DEBONO. On March 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, MATTHEW of Ta’ Xbiex, aged 34, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his parents Janet, née Engerer, and Anthony, his brother Kriss and his wife Marisa, his sister Lisa and her husband Alan, his nephew Isaac, his girlfriend Denise, his many relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45pm for Ta’ Xbiex parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
