Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said this evening that there was no animosity between him and former Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia and he hoped he would have another role in the government in the future.

Dr Muscat gave his first comments after the Cabinet reshuffle when he spoke to Mark Micallef during an interview carried on TimesTalk this evening.

He said he had confidence in Dr Farrugia, to the extent that he had offered him another portfolio, but the health sector needed new input which was not only from the health angle but also managerial.

Dr Muscat said he did not consider the Cabinet reshuffle as major and said it addressed problems which cropped up from time to time.
