Queen’s legendary guitarist Brian May speaks about the way he feels he has struck a perfect match with British singer Kerry Ellis, ahead of their concert in Malta on Saturday.

Whipping up a set-list mainly made up of acoustic interpretations of Queen songs together with cover versions, May and Ellis will perform in Malta on the last leg of their current tour.

The 66-year-old guitarist dismisses suggestions that audiences merely turn up to shows to see him perform: “Kerry is a perfect singer with a voice in a million."

May also speaks of his collaboration with Freddie Mercury - “Freddie would always come with something better” - and the way the Queen legacy still thrives 23 years after the death of its frontman.

An active animal rights campaigner, a theme at the core of the current tour, May describes hunting as an outdated concept: “Real men don’t hunt”.
