St Edward’s College, Cottonera, recently held an open day for prospective students and their parents to see current students at the school engaged in a variety of activities and learning experiences.

Early Years pupils took part in a music and drama workshop aimed at strengthening their communication skills and allowing them to be creative through the use of different colours and instruments.

On the school’s new track facilities, pupils also displayed their athletic skills during the Junior School Sports Day.

Middle and Senior School science students set up and conducted various experiments in the science laboratories.

Members of the Ekoskola Committee displayed innovative practices to encourage sustainability.

International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma students took part in an activity in which they were challenged to critically analyse the film Monuments Men.

The John Micallef essay competition was also launched on the day by the Farsons Foundation. Year 11 and IB students were invited to submit their essays regarding inclusion.
