Disability, Families and Motherhood is the title of a public lecture to be given by Sonali Shah on Friday from 6 to 7.30pm at the University’s Gateway Building, Hall B2, organised by the Disability Studies Unit of the University’s Faculty for Social Wellbeing.

Dr Shah is a Lord Kelvin senior research fellow at the Strathclyde Centre for Disability Research at Glasgow University. In the lecture, Dr Shah will explore disability over the course of life – from being a child to having a child, and how this has changed over time in the UK.
