The Tap Knowledge B2B Partnership and Networking Event, organised by Property & Life Magazine, will this year combine a supplier exhibition with networking and keynote presentations from thought leaders.

This year’s event takes place on April 11 at the Intercontinental Hotel Malta and will be featuring new concepts of a one-stop-shop for businesses wanting to promote Malta as a doorway to North Africa, particularly the Mena region.

A debate will showcase some of the top speakers and moderators on the island, with the participation of German Ambassador Klaus-Peter Brandes, Dutch Ambassador Rita Dulci Rahman, chairman of Finance Malta Kenneth Farrugia, Tonio Fenech, managing partner at Fenech Farrugia Fiott Legal, Ranier Fsadni, lecturer of anthropological sciences at the University’s Faculty of Arts, Vanni Xuereb, head of MEUSAC, and Anamaria Magri Pantea, business development manager at Tap K Resources Ltd, with an introductory presentation by Werner Jung, Flexible Factory Institute, Germany, a senior lecturer, trainer and consultant.

BOV points redeemable at more outlets

Forestals and Matrix outlets are new partners in the BOV Loyalty Rewards Programme, widening the selection available to BOV Premium Cardholders to redeem their BOV points.

The partnership agreement was signed by Michael Galea, chief officer operations at Bank of Valletta and Etienne Borg Cardona, CEO at Forestals.

“This new partnership opens up an excellent range of quality products for our cardholders who now have the opportunity to redeem their points on appliances, TVs, home entertainment systems, computers, gaming consoles, software and other gadgets available at Forestals and Matrix outlets,” Mr Galea said.

The BOV Loyalty Rewards Programme, which was launched in 2009, automatically awards cardholders one point for every €1 spent in retail purchases effected with a BOV Visa Platinum, BOV Visa Gold and BOV Visa Skypass card.

Upgrade for Corinthia

Corinthia Hotel Lisbon has inaugurated a newly renovated lobby, reception and lounge bar.

London-based interior designers Goddard Littlefair managed the renovation, which includes a complete redesign. To mark its 10th anniversary the hotel specially commissioned art from renowned local artists Diogo Navarro, Maria Antónia Santos and Susana Bravo, to depict the city’s rich history and diverse Portuguese culture.

Muovo partnership with multinational agency

Local recruitment specialist Muovo and the multinational staffing agency Gi Group have concluded a partnership offering opportunities to candidates looking for employment abroad.
