In yesterday’s two matches Otters Nivea and Ta’ Xbiex Amigos again shared 12 goals in the opening match of the First Division return round while in the second clash an improving Sirens side beat the ASA Under 19 team 11-6.

With the Gozitans one point ahead prior to their match against Ta’ Xbiex, the result meant that two last spots in the table remained unaltered.

This time it was the turn of Otters to fight back in the last session after being in arrears 6-4 with the final quarter left.

At one point in the second session they were 4-1 ahead, but after the comeback by Ta’ Xbiex veteran John Paris rescued his team from defeat when he scored his third goal 14 seconds from the end.
