After the Winter League matches scheduled for Monday, the pre-season competition will resume on May 2 to make way for Malta’s international commitments and the Easter period during April.

The national team will be in action in the third Commonwealth Championship, being held in Aberdeen between April 5 and 12.

The other nations taking part are Scotland, England, Wales, S. Africa, Singapore and New Zealand. The first two editions were held in Manchester in 2002 and Perth in 2008.

On April 18, the junior team will travel to the Czech Republic to compete in the EU Nations Waterpolo Cup, a three-day tournament for players born not later than 1998.

This week the ASA announced that the Premier League matches, San Ġiljan vs Sliema and Neptunes vs Sirens, have been rescheduled for April 27.

The last Winter League matches for March will be as follows:

Friday: 18.45 Otters vs Ta’ Xbiex; 20.00 Sirens vs ASA U-19.

Saturday: 15.30 Marsaxlokk vs Marsascala; 16.45 Neptunes vs Valletta.

Monday: 9.45 Exiles vs Valletta; 11.00 ASA U-19 vs San Ġiljan.
