Chez Amand restaurant in Marsalforn was recently presented with a Platinum Distinction framed certificate and personalised commemorative double magnum of Gran Cavalier Merlot as part of Emmanuel Delicata’s ongoing customer loyalty scheme.

The scheme, introduced by the winemaker five years ago, rewards clients that have proven to be devoted purveyors of Delicata wines for a given number of years. In the case of the restaurant in Qbajjar Bay, it has been in a partnership with Delicata since 1982.

Amand and Caroline Veranneman received the award on reopening the restaurant for the 2014 season.

Chez Amand serves a variety of dishes based on Mediterranean, French, Belgian and local cuisines and stocks a good choice of wines to accompany them, including quality award-winning Delicata brands such as Medina, Victoria Heights, Grand Vin de Hauteville and Gran Cavalier.

Since its inception, Delicata has awarded 46 of its clients with distinctions – two bronzes, five silvers, 19 golds, 19 platinums and one diamond.
