Malta Under-17 will take part in the EU Nations Waterpolo Cup which will be staged in Brno, Czech Republic, next month.

National coach Karl Izzo this week selected 15 players for the tournament which will be played between April 18 and 20.

Malta Under-17 were drawn in Group B and will face Switzerland, Scotland and Poland.

The other nations in the tournament will be Czech Republic, Ireland, Wales and Austria.

The Maltese team start their group commitments with a match against Poland on the opening day of the tournament.

Izzo will be assisted by coaches Anthony Farrugia and Adrian Cachia.

All three will be gauging the players in Brno as the squad starts their build-up for the 2015 European Under-17 Championship qualifiers.
