DEGAETANO. On March 24, at Karen Grech Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 91, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Dorothy, nèe Cost Chretien, his children, Marianne and her husband Frederick Frendo, Angela and her husband Joseph Sapienza, Andrew and his wife Josianne, Caroline and her husband Mark Camilleri, David and his wife Bernardette, Paul and his wife Josienne, his dearest 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, his sister Ina Captur, his brother Vincent and his wife Cecilia, his sister-in-law Rose De Gaetano, other relatives and friends. GRIXTI. On March 20, PATRICK, at the age of 44, tragically went to meet the Lord. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Judy, his sons Isaac and Gabriel, his parents Joseph and Concetta, his sisters Elaine and her husband Kenneth, Caroline and her boyfriend Jean Pierre, his brother Robert, his in-laws MaryAnne and Charles Mejlaq, his brother-in-law Jesmond and his wife AnneMarie, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2pm for St Helen’s Basilica, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MALLIA. On March 24, at her son’s residence in Burmarrad, LILIAN, née Bonello, of Mosta, passed away peacefully at the age of 73. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sons Pierre and his wife Vil and Kevin and Rita, her grandson Nicholas, her brother Edwin, her sisters Marianna and her husband Joe and their daughter Alexandra, Evelyn, Sr Liliana Bonello, nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. MOUSU. On March 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARK of Swieqi, aged 46, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Manola, née Tabone, his son Andre’, his father Lino and his mother Rosabelle, his sisters Fleur and her husband Gavin Gulia and Joanna and her husband Jean Carlo Fino, his father-in-law George and Theresa Tabone, his sisters-in-law Sonia and her husband Robert Borg and Claudine and her husband Joseph Faure, his nephews and nieces Jacques, Katrina, Martina, Luigi, Gianni, Kristina and Julienne, his aunt Mary Young and his uncle Frans Mamo, other relatives and friends, especially the specialists, doctors and all the staff of the Emergency Department and ITU. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for Tal-Ibraġ parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family chapel at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. POLIDANO. On March 25, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA CARMELA, widow of Joseph, aged 80, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Charles and his wife Josephine, Twanny and his wife Adriana, Paul and his wife Jacqueline and Alfred and his wife Vanessa, her brother and sister, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 4pm at Safi parish church followed by private interment at Safi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

SALIBA. On March 21, MICHELANGELO, from Victoria, Gozo, passed away peacefully at the age of 88, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Angiolina, his children Georgette and her husband Joe, Marthese and her husband Joseph, his grandaughter Elena, his sisters-in-law Dolora and Maria, many other relatives and friends. The funeral will leave Gozo General Hospital today at 3.45pm for Republic Street, Victoria where, at 4pm, a cortege, accompanied by the La Stella Band, will proceed to the basilica of St George, where a Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 5pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Cemetery. VELLA. On March 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, after a short illness, ANTOINETTE (Lina), aged 79, beloved widow of John, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her son Dr Noel Vella, her daughter Marise-Anne and their respective spouses Cora and Tony, her grandchildren David and Jonathan, Sarah, Rachel, Matthew, Timothy and Gabriel, her brother Joe, her sisters Pauline, Mary and her husband Frans and Grace and her husband Joe, her sister-in-law Mary and her husband Salvu, nephews and nieces. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for Gudja parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Gudja cemetery. ZAHRA FENECH. On March 19, LISA MARIA, at the tender age of 15, went to meet the Lord and join her beloved mother Carmen. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her heartbroken father Tony, Bella, her beloved brother Nicholas and his wife Natasha, her cherished niece Michelle, and her adored grandmother Carmen Fenech. She will also be greatly missed and mourned by her devoted aunts and uncles, Lino and Cettina, John, Winston and Doris, Carmen widow of Frank and Antoinette widow of George, Maria and Ġużi, Frans and Maria, her cousins and their children, other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held at the basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta, on Friday at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Music and Steel festival

Dock 7 in Marsa will be temporarily closed to traffic on Sunday between 6.30 and 9.30pm because of the Music and Steel Festival that will be held at the Marsa Shipbuilding.

Transport Malta said access to Marsa Shipbuilding would only be allowed through Aldo Moro Street.
