Karl Consiglio’s contention that I had tried to belittle him is not quite as fanciful as when, some two years ago, he had sarcastically written that apparently I was not (even) aware that the sun does not rise but that it is the earth that actually moves.

I feel that Consiglio is wrong on two counts.

To start with, the preacher in question was only offering suggestions and not imposing on people who share his faith and his were simply healthy spiritual and natural recommendations.

Secondly, the Church cannot hate or condemn gay civil unions for such unions are man-made and, as such, are non-existent where natural law and ethics are concerned.

If, however, Consiglio opts to entertain and condone such an illusion, he would simply be fancying an oasis that is no more than a mirage!

Furthermore, he seems to have been blinded by the sun he alluded to or.
