Chanel’s make-up creation studio orchestrates pink and violet plum shades to the beat of a joyful red. A harmony of intense or pastel hues composes an ode to the freshness of spring.
At the heart of the collection is a spring red. Fresh and luminous, this sunny red is tender and bright on lips, nails and cheeks and plays the lead in an orchestra of notes, enhancing their echo.
Following the red tone, pinks and violets play up their shades in a crescendo and improvise with endless variations: pastel pink swept over eyelids in a sheer touch, electric pink on lips, grey lavender for a soft gaze or violet plum lacquer on nails.
For the eyes, the colours are pink and mauve. The limited edition Lumières Facettes is a palette presenting a quartet of natural and intense shadows.
Eyes are sculpted with accents of grey lavender or with a luminous, matte, intense brown for a more sensual effect. Swept over eyelids, a satiny apricot pink perfects a natural beauty look, while an ivory shimmering with gold pearlescent pigments is dabbed on for a touch of radiance.
Illusion d’Ombre eye shadows offer shimmering reflections that set the tone. Diapason is full of nuance, with a hint of violet plum and brown to give a deeply intense and elegant look, while Impulsion, a pastel pink with silver shimmers, lights up eyes with a sheer glow for a delicate and natural touch.
Chanel launched a range of lipsticks that includes Rouge Coco, with Dédicace being a bluish pink and Triomphe a peach pink; Rouge Allure, with Mélodieuse, a fresh a tangy red, and Fouguese, a brilliant, bright pink; and Rouge Allure Velvet, with La Diva, an electric pink, and L’Adorée, a grey mauve.
Chanel’s spring gloss line perfectly expresses the spirit of the new season. It comes in three movements: Sonate, a candy red, Murmure, a soft pink, and Plaisir, a pastel pink.
Nails make no compromises. Le Vernis stays in sync with the collection thanks to the energising notes of two luminous nail colours: Charivari, a dark mauve, and Tapage, a soft, vibrant red.
Le Blush Crème de Chanel, the new complexion must-have, is applied with fingertips. Its silky cream texture melts onto the skin and transforms it a natural halo. A duo of luminous matte shades offers all the sensations of the first sunny days with matching lipsticks form the collection.
On the face, a hint of powder is all it takes to even out the complexion. Prèface is a universal light peach shade, a hymn to natural beauty.
