Thomas Howalt of Isis Innovation Ltd, Oxford University’s technology transfer company, will deliver a seminar on the theme Make Good Ideas Happen – Growing a Successful Digital Games Industry, on Tuesday from 4 to 6pm at the University’s Takeoff Business Incubator, Dar Ġużeppi Zahra, Msida campus.

Howalt will present a case study on the setting up of the first official game funding scheme in Denmark and how it developed over the past five years. He will indicate the key lessons learned from game support programmes across the globe and what this means for the local digital gaming industry. The seminar will end with a networking session.

This is one of a series of public seminars on intellectual property and knowledge transfer organised by the University in collaboration with the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and Isis Innovation.
