ATTARD. On March 19, at Mater Dei hospital, ADRIAN, aged 66, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Anna, née Cachia, and his children Alan and Nicola, Alexia and Aldo, Alison and Saviour. He will also be greatly missed by his treasured grandchildren Emma, Abigail and Isabelle, his brother and sisters Monica, Rita and Edward, Alex and Sandra, his aunt Inez Saunders, his in-laws Alfred and Julianne, Marie and Albert, Richard and Elizabeth, and Henry, widower of Therese, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday at 8.30am for St Mary parish church, Attard, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PORTELLI. On March 19, at Casa Leone, MARY, widow of Dr Joseph Portelli, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Wilfred, her sister Josephine, her sister-in-law Tessie, George and Marisa, Kenneth and Jackie, Caroline and Jean, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Casa Leone tomorrow at 2pm for Stella Maris parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.30pm followed by interment at Rabat cemetery. SCERRI. On March 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA, residing in Sta Lucia, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Alan and David, her daughter Marika and her husband James, her grandchildren Mairead and Leanne, her brothers and their families, the family of her late husband Alfred, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.45am for Lija parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Sisters, Guardamangia, will be greatly appreciated. The family regrets they are unable to receive visitors at home. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

A Memorial Service in memory of HARRY KEATE will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral, Valletta on Friday, 4th April at 6pm. The service will be conducted by Canon Simon Godfrey. All friends are welcome.
