The Voice coach Kylie Minogue has announced a series of arena shows in the UK and Ireland later this year.

The Australian singer is to play the gigs – in the wake of new album Kiss Me Once – during her upcoming 31-date European tour.

It is the first time the singer/actress, whose hits include Can’t Get You Out of My Head and Confide in Me, has played in the UK since the Anti Tour in April 2012. The new album, which features tracks by Haim producer Ariel Rechtshaid as well as Pharrell Williams, is her first for four years and was released on Monday.

Tickets for the Kiss Me Once tour go on sale on Friday and are available through livenation.co.uk.

The shows begin in Manchester on September 29, calling at London, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast, Newcastle, Glasgow and winding up in Sheffield on November 13.
