Emirates has chosen the city of Boston to become its eighth US destination with a daily, non-stop service from Dubai.
The state capital of Massachusetts is the 142th city in the airline’s international network. First class, business and economy seats will be available on the Boeing 777-200LR plane.
“We are extremely upbeat about our new Boston service,” said airline president Tim Clark.
“From the moment we first announced plans to connect Massachusetts to our global network, we have received a strong and positive response from travellers and our business customers.”
In addition to passengers, Emirates Sky Cargo will operate bellyhold cargo space to transport up to 15 tons of goods to and from Boston – such as electronics, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, machine parts, leather products, consumer commodities, as well as New England’s finest lobster.

It operates daily scheduled flights from Malta to Dubai. On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, Emirates flies via Larnaca, Cyprus, while on Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays, the airline operates direct flights from Dubai to Malta and return flights fly via Tripoli.
