Konrad Farrugia recently graduated from the University of Kent, UK with a Master of Science in Applied Actuarial Science, with a distinction.
This one-year, taught, full-time programme enhanced Mr Farrugia’s knowledge and understanding of major areas in which actuaries are involved.
Modules chosen included actuarial risk management, life insurance, finance and investment.
Mr Farrugia is a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and holds a diploma in actuarial techniques.
He previously graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Malta and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Studies for these degrees were supported by a Strategic Educational Pathways Scholarship (Steps), part-financed by the EU’s European Social Fund Operational Programme II – Cohesion Policy 2007-2013: ‘Empowering people for more jobs and a better quality of life.’
