AQUILINA. On March 8, at Karen Grech Hospital, LORENZA, aged 82, member of the MUSEUM society, formerly from Għajn Dwieli, Paola, and latterly residing at the Home for the Elderly, Cospicua, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Michael and his wife Maryanne, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, especially those within the MUSEUM society. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday at 1.45pm for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Cospicua, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Provvidenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to all the staff of RW1, Karen Grech Hospital, for their care and dedication. May the Lord grant her eternal rest.

AQUILINA. On March 7, NAZZARENO (ex-RMA sergeant), aged 94, of Żebbuġ, husband of Agnes, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Anne, Joseph, Carmelo, Margaret, Philip, Lawrence, Paul, Iris, Godwin and Shirley, their spouses, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 2.30pm for St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at San Andrea cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. We, who loved him in life, let us not forget him in death. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CAMILLERI. On March 7 at Mater Dei Hospital, JOHN, of Luqa, founder of Construct Furniture Ltd, passed peacefully away aged 71, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Giovanna, his children Bridget and her husband John, Enrico, Adolfo and his wife Marija, Valerio and his wife Amanda, Alfiero and his wife Alison, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, in-laws and their respective spouses, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 2.30pm for St Andrew’s parish church, Luqa, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 3pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the parish cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, and Puttinu Cares will be appreciated. The family regrets it are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CUSCHIERI. On March 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, GAETANO of Ħamrun, aged 81, PN councillor and honorary president of the St Joseph Band Club, Ħamrun, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Louis and his wife Doreen and Josef, his grandchildren Antonello and his wife Sara, Rossana and her boyfriend Alberto, Clint and his girlfriend Yasmine and Lara, his great-grandchildren Giulia, Elisa, Alessia and Nicholas, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by a cortege that leaves St Cajetan parish church for St Paul’s Square, accompanied by the St Joseph Band, and interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GALEA-NAUDI. On March 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mandy, his two sons Peter and Julian, Sarah, grandson Karl, his brothers Francis, Robert and their spouses, nephews, nieces and close friends. Funeral details will be announced at a later date.

GRECH. On March 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPHINE (ex-headmistress), aged 73, of Żabbar, recently residing in Marsascala, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be said tomorrow at 3pm at Our Lady of Graces parish church, Żabbar, followed by interment at Żabbar cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

SAYDON. On March 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEL, aged 87, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Joan, Marianne, Joseph, Catherine and Gerard and their families, his brother Paul, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 8.30am for St Helen’s Basilica Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GRIFFITHS – JOSEPH. On the 28th anniversary of his death. Fondly remembered by his wife Rose and family. Not a day goes by that you are not thought of, nor a moment goes by that you are not deeply missed.

KERRIDGE – MARIE. In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, today the 11th anniversary of her passing away. Forever in our thoughts and prayers. Ben, Joe and Julian.

MONTANARO. In loving memory of Chev. ANTHONY MONTANARO on the 10th anniversary of his passing away. Forever in our hearts and sadly missed by his wife Frances, his children Josette, Godwin, Alex and Alan, his in-laws and grandchildren. Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated tomorrow at 6pm at the Ursuline Sisters chapel, Sliema.

PIZZUTO. In everlasting memory of PAUL on the 19th anniversary of his passing to everlasting life. His wife Elizabeth, children Anton and Monica, Marilyn and Ray, Paul and Tessie and their respective families.

SAMMUT – VICTOR. Lovingly remembered on the 10th anniversary of his demise. Always in our thoughts and prayers. His wife Valerie, children Adrian, Maria and Annabelle, their spouses and grandchildren.

The family of HECTOR PACE would like to thank Fr Vincent Micallef, Fr Mark Montebello and Fr Nicholas Cachia who concelebrated Mass, all relatives, friends and colleagues who attended the funeral Mass, sent cards, flowers and donations or in any other way showed their sympathy on the loss of a beloved father, son, grandfather and brother who went to meet the Risen Lord on February 8, 2014.
