GRECH. On March 1, EMANUEL, known as Lino, aged 73 of Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Bernadette, his children John, Tania and her husband Laurent, Franco and his wife Elaine, Amy, Elton, Manuel, his nieces Elizabeth and Rebecca, his nephew Carl-Lino, his sister Gemma and her husband Joe, his brother Joe and Lilian, his in-laws and their families, relatives and friends. On March 1, at her residence in Guardamangia, EVELYN, aged 91, widow of the late William, ex-Superintendent of the Malta Police Force, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her children Philip and his wife Vivienne, Dorothy, widow of Mario Buontempo, Sr Pier Damiana of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Carmen, widow of Vincent Grima, Marion wife of Charles Calleja, Henry and his wife Patricia, Isabelle and her husband Ezio Comparato, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, Guardamangia, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Marija Addolor-ata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Creche of Guardamangia will be appreciated. Please remember her in your prayers.
SCICLUNA. On March 2, CONCETTA, aged 93, widow of Anthony, passed peacefully away at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children George and his wife Esther, Freddie and his wife Doris, Mary, widow of Marco Pisani, Nina, widow of Saviour Borg, Joe and his wife Jackie, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her brother Joe Borg of Australia, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Sister Raffaela and the carers at Pax Et Bonum, Mosta.
