GRECH. On February 28, at Mater Dei Hospital, PATRICIA ANN née Borg Cardona, widow of Dr Alfred Grech (ex-CGMO), aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her children Mark and his partner Chris, Sandra and her husband Gerry, Philip and his wife Rita, and Kenneth and his wife Anna Maria, her grandchildren Andrew, Matthew, Rachelle, Benjamin, James, Sean Kenneth, Neil and Dawn. The funeral cortege leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday at 1.30pm for St Dominic priory church, Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
MICELI. On February 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, GODWIN ALEXANDER, widower of Rosemary, née Spiteri Paris, aged 79, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his daughters Suzanne and her husband Christopher Sharp and Caroline and her husband Robert Herman, his grandchildren Nicholas, Sophie, Danny, Jack, Georgia and James, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, and his numerous friends, both in Malta and abroad. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by private interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SALIBA. On February 27, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Centre, CARRIE of Valletta, widow of George, aged 87, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Salvu, Carmen and her husband Charlie Taliana, Tony, widower of Carmen, Mario and his wife Josephine and Piu and his wife Doreen, her grandchildren Carla, Carlo, Kevin, Sandro, Carl, Tiziana, Shaun and their families, her great-grandchildren Cheryl and Nadesh, her sisters, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 7.45am for St Augustine parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.15am, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
