The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology is receiving online applications through its website www.mcast.edu.mt/shortcourses for over 200 part-time courses that start next month.

The courses are mainly aimed at adults whose work or family commitments make it difficult for them to follow full-time education, but who want to acquire skills and qualifications to seek new jobs, advance in their careers or learn more about subjects that interest them. Students aged 16 and over may also join these courses to support their full-time education.

Lessons are held during evenings or on Saturday mornings. The courses include several new programmes offered by various Mcast institutes.

The part-time training programmes are managed by the College’s commercial arm, Mcast Gateway to Industry Ltd. It offers over 300 different part-time courses every year, through two intakes, in March and September.

Details on each course and application forms are available on the Mcast website as well as in a printed booklet available at Mcast and local council offices. The booklet will be distributed to all homes and businesses this month.

The application form may be mailed to the Office of Part-Time Courses, Mcast Main Campus, Corradino Hill, Paola PLA 9032 or submitted at the main campus on weekdays from tomorrow to March 5, between 8.30am and 5pm.

For further details or advice call 2398 7103, 2398 7116 or e-mail shortcourses@mcast.edu.mt.
