10.30am The President and Mrs Abela visit St Ursula Monastery in Valletta.

Noon The President visits a photographic exhibition entitled Human Warmth by Winston Baldacchino at the Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, Palazzo de La Salle, Valletta.

6.30pm He inaugurates Children’s Eyes on Earth, an international youth photo contest – held in association with the International Dialogue for Environmental Action (Baku, Azerbaijan) and international photographer Reza Deghati – at the Palace, Valletta.

Tuesday

10am The President visits the Kidstart Childcare and Development Centre in Santa Venera.

Noon He receives a delegation from Shanghai, led by Dao Shuming, standing member of the CPPCC Shanghai Committee and chairman of the Committee for Friendship with Foreign Countries on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace, Attard. Chinese Ambassador Cai Jinbaio will attend.

6pm Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee at San Anton Palace, Attard.

7pm The President and Mrs Abela host a piano recital by Li Jian, dean of the piano department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and inaugurate concert chairs donated by the Chinese government to the Office of the President at Verdala Palace, Buskett.

7pm The President hosts a lecture given by Reza Deghati at the Palace, Valletta, which will be open to the public.

Wednesday

11.30am The President and Mrs Abela visit Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi.

6pm They preside over the Malta Community Chest Fund board meeting at San Anton Palace, Attard.

Thursday

2pm The President presides over the Commission for the Administration of Justice meeting at the Palace, Valletta.

7pm He attends a reception, hosted by Faisal Sulaiman Al-Musaileem and Maha Bourusly on the 53rd anniversary of the National Day and the 23rd anniversary of the liberation of Kuwait, at the Westin Dragonara Resort, St Julian’s.

Friday

5.15pm The President and Mrs Abela inaugurate Dar Kenn għal Saħħtek in Imtarfa.

Saturday

9am The President delivers a speech during a seminar entitled ‘Leġislazzjoni dwar Kapaċità Mentali f’Malta’, organised by the Office of the Commissioner for Mental Health and Older People, at Verdala Palace, Buskett.

Sunday

Dar Kenn għal Saħħtek will be open to the public between 10am and 4pm.
