Servicing dynamic and evolving communities is the theme of the first counselling research conference being organised by the Department of Counselling of the University’s Faculty for Social Wellbeing. It is being held in collaboration with the Malta Association for the Counselling Profession on Saturday at the Dolmen Resort Hotel, Qawra.

It will feature presentations on novel research by students, academics, professionals and other guest speakers. A keynote speech on translational research will be delivered by Prof. Vivian Lee.

The conference is aimed at practitioners, academics and students in the areas of counselling, psychology, social work, education, health sciences and other helping professions.

Participants will receive a certificate of attendance valid for continuous professional development.

The participation fee, including lunch and refreshments, is €35 (€30 for students).
