The ninth issue of Baroque Routes newsletter has been published by the University’s International Institute for Baroque Studies and is available online at www.um.edu.mt/iibs/baroqueroutes.

A hard copy may be obtained from the institute by e-mailing andre.debattista@um.edu.mt.

The newsletter includes information on the institute’s public lectures, seminars and other activities aimed at promoting greater appreciation of baroque culture, including the International Summer School on Military Architecture scheduled for early June 2014, the latest dissertations submitted by postgraduate students and the first issue of the Journal of Baroque Studies. The second edition of this peer-reviewed journal will be published shortly.

The institute organises MA courses on baroque studies and short courses on the baroque heritage of Malta and its conservation.
