• The feast of St John Bosco is being celebrated today at the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a solemn High Mass at 9am, followed by the blessing of pets at St Augustine’s Square. A Mass will be celebrated at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel at 4.30pm, followed by a procession with the statute of Don Bosco, accompanied by the Leone Band. The Gozo Youth Wind Band and Orchestra, under the direction of Mro Joseph Grech, will present the concert Pomp and Circumstance at the oratory’s theatre at 7.30pm. Entrance is free.

• The feast of St Blas will be celebrated today in Nadur. Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass at the boċċi pitch at 10.30am, followed by the blessing of animals and agriculture produce. Transport will be available.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm.

• The next meeting of the Gozo Richmond Foundation Self-Help Group and the Step Ahead Group will be held at the NGO Centre, l/o Xewkija, on Tuesday at 5.30pm, followed by dinner. • The Ladies’ Circle of the Sacred Heart Minor Seminary, Victoria will organise its monthly coffee morning on Thursday at 9am in the Catholic Action Centre hall, Victoria. Tickets costing €3 may be obtained from the members and the school.

• The Gozitan Graduates Movement invites graduates and members of all professions (including couples) for First Friday Mass at St Augustine’s church, Victoria, at 8pm on Friday.

• On the occasion of the feast of St Paul’s Shipwreck there will be the traditional bonfire with the participation of young people in the grounds of Munxar parish centre on Friday at 8pm.

• Bishop Mario Grech, will lead a thanksgiving concelebration Mass at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary on Saturday at 6.30pm on the 50th anniversary since the establishment of the Diocesian Eucharistic Movement in Gozo. It will be followed with the adoration of the Eucharist and another Mass at midnight.

• Bethel Charismatic Group will hold a prayer meeting at MAS headquarters, Victoria on Saturday at 7pm.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly will organise a charity sale at the football ground next to the Victoria main car park next Sunday and on February 23 between 8am and 1pm. A €10 charge will be payable on the day. For more information, call 2155 3336.
