Students, cultural enthusiasts and other professionals occupied most of the seats at the Aula Magna of the Old University building in St Paul Street, Valletta, for the second of a series of public lectures organised by Frank Salt Real Estate.
The lectures explore the treasures and history of the capital city. Together with the coordination of archaeologist Timmy Gambin, the lectures were delivered by Liam Gauci, curator of the Malta Maritime Museum, who spoke about the French occupation in Malta, and by Conrad Thake, who provided a kaleidoscope of social historical aspects of the city over time since its inception.
The lectures are an initiative of Frank Salt Real Estate through its recently established Valletta Heritage Property division.
Frank Salt said the increasing number of events being organised in Valletta were raising a particular interest in property in the capital city, and the real estate agent would continue to raise awareness of its rich heritage.
