She leaves to mourn her loss her family and friends in Canada and Malta. CACHIA. On January 25, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, ROSEMARY, aged 72, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreplaceable loss her beloved husband Harry, her children Henry and his wife Joelle, Stephen and his wife Dorianne, Bernadette and her husband Stephen Hall and Julian, her dearest grandchildren Christina, Michael, John, Marta, Klara, Janine, Michael and Francesca, her dear sister Lydia, wife of Paul Attard Montalto, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Capua Hospital today for Tal-Ibraġ parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CUSCHIERI. On January 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, Capt. VICTOR MARY, aged 89, passed away peacefully, after a short illness, so bravely borne. He leaves to mourn his loss his loving and devoted wife Marie, née Galea, his children Tonio and his wife Priscilla, Margaret and her husband Alex Schembri, Francis and his wife Anne, his beloved grandchildren Erika and her husband Michael Azzopardi, Clarissa and James, Celia and Michael, Krista and Kurt, and their partners, and his great-grandchildren John and Ana, his brothers Maurice, Louis and Alfred and his wife Mona, his sisters Ethel Buttigieg and Imelda Borg Bartolo, his sister-in-law Marthese Cuschieri, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.15am for San Girgor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.45am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolo-rata Cemetery. FARRUGIA. On January 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, IRIS, née Schembri, of Sliema, widow of Vincent, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sons Martin and Stephen, her grandchildren Rachel and Jeffrey, her sisters May and Julianne, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. MIFSUD. On January 25, at his residence, JOHN MELVIN of Floriana, residing at Qawra, aged 52, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Greatly missed by his beloved wife Maria, née Calleja, his daughters Marilyn and Michelle, his father Peter, his brother Ray and his wife Josephine, his mother-in-law Josephine Calleja, his in-laws and their spouses, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Monica and her husband Paul Caruana, Magda and her husband Tony Gerada, Norman and his wife Georgina and Josette and her husband Karmenu Dalli, her grandchildren, their respective spouses, great-grandchildren, her sister Marianna Last, residing in UK, Jessie, widow of her brother Joe Agius, in-laws, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8am for St Venera parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. XUEREB. On January 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, two days after her 79th birthday and following four years of an illness borne with good Catholic fortitude, ANNA, née Bonello leaves to mourn her very sorrowful loss her devoted husband Dr Joseph Xuereb of Mosta, her children, Stefan and his partner Althea, Daniela and her husband Christopher Falzon, her brother Judge Giovanni Bonello, her brother-in-law Antoine Xuereb, all nephews and nieces, cousins and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 2pm at Mosta parish church. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.
