• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm.
• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo will hold a charity sale at the Victoria football ground (next to the main car park) today from 7.30am to 1pm. Each car space costs €10 and is payable on the day.
• Planes will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.
• OASI volunteers are organising a bazaar until the end of January in St Francis Square, Victoria (opposite the church). It is open Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 12.30pm and from 4.30 to 7pm. • A special prayer meeting for children, led by Fr Michael Said, will be held tomorrow at 5pm at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, in preparation of the feast of St John Bosco. All children present will receive a token.
• Joe Fenech, superior of the Society of Christian Doctrine (MUSEUM) will hold a prayer and catechesis meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 10 to 11am. Everyone is invited. He also presents a weekly Saturday programme from 1 to 3pm on Radju Maria.
• The liturgical feast of St John Bosco will be celebrated at Don Bosco Oratory on Friday. Masses for schoolchildren will be celebrated in the morning in the oratory chapel. A High Mass will be celebrated by Archpriest Mgr Paul Cardona at 7pm with the participation of the Chorus Urbanus under the direction of Mro John Galea. A karaoke night for youths will later be held in the oratory foyer.
• A lecture, entitled Nature Sites in Gozo, by ornithologist and environmentalist Joe Sultana will be held by Wirt Għawdex on Friday at 6.30pm at St Cecilia chapel, limits of Għajnsielem. It is open to the public. Booking is recommended via e-mail to membership@wirtghawdex.org.
• The Gozo Business Chamber is holding its annual general meeting next Sunday, at the NGO Centre in Xewkija at 9.30am.
• The Catholic Action Movement in Gozo will organise its annual ceremony at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary on Saturday at 4.30pm. Parents are invited to bring their baptised babies to be presented to Our Lady during a Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech.
