Chad Patus, of Athleta A-Z Electronics, was this week named the You Shop We Ship Division One player of the month for December.

This was the first individual honour in Malta for the Canadian player after joining A-Z Electronics in summer.

During December, Athleta kept their top place in the league and also played in the Louis Borg Cup semi-finals.

Patus contributed with 69 points, including two three-pointers. He was the fifth best scorer in the men’s league for December.

Patus is currently the second best rebounder of the season with an average of 14.15.

He also features an average of 1.69 steals and 2.62 assists per game. He was presented with his award by Martin Ferry on behalf of the sponsors.
