Every day until February 14, Go will be giving customers the chance to win 50 times their top-up value.

Romina Zammit, manager, Mobile Residential Segment at GO, said: “From now until Valentine’s Day, Go will announce a daily winner from all customers who topped up their mobile credit with €10 or more on that day and who have their details registered with Go. The winner will receive 50 times the value topped up in mobile credit. For instance, a daily winner who would have topped up with €20 on that day will receive €1,000 in mobile credit.”

An SMS will be sent to each participant with a unique voucher code which will be automatically entered into a daily draw.

Vodafone MaltaFoundation helps FITA

For the second year in a row, the Vodafone Malta Foundation is supporting FITA in its mission to improve the quality of life of persons with disability.

The idea behind the partnership started in 2012. The project makes use of the benefits that mobile technology can bring to persons with disability, having a direct positive impact on their standard of living.

“This is at the core of what the Vodafone Malta Foundation stands for,” emphasised chairman Gemma Mifsud Bonnici.

“Disabled persons rely more heavily on ICT because, in many instances, it is not only simply convenient but it actually makes tasks achievable, granting them access to information services, education and employment.”

This year 19 visually impaired and deaf persons are set to benefit through the purchase of a smartphone and upgrading of their phones through funds provided through the foundation.

The 40-hour programme will start in the first week of February and finishes in June. It is split into four modules:  fundamentals of recruitment; employees’ growth; diversity discrimination and rights of work; and managing difficult situations.

The principal trainers are Joseph Farrugia from Mdina Partnership and Roselyn Borg Knight from Twenty One Law.
