• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm.

• To mark the feast of St Anthony the Abbot, Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass today at 8.30am at St Anthony church, Tal-Qaċċa, Xagħra. A procession with the saint’s statue will leave the church at 10am for St Anthony Square where horses will be blessed, followed by a defilé to the Basilica of the Nativity of Our Lady. There will be a cat and dog show at St Anthony Square at 11am, solemn vespers at the basilica at 3.30pm, followed by a procession with the statue to St Anthony Square, where pets will be blessed at 4.30pm.

• A car boot sale will take place today from 7am until midday at the Marsalforn car park, organised by the Arka Foundation of Għajnsielem.

• Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• A special prayer meeting for youths on the theme The Cure of the Heart will be held on Friday at 8pm at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, in preparation for the feast of St John Bosco, patron saint of youths. It will be led by Fr Raymond Portelli, a surgeon and missionary priest in Peru. Gianluca Bezzina will also take part. All youths are invited.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Don Bosco Oratory chapel, Victoria, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• Bethel Charismatic Group will hold a prayer meeting at MAS headquarters, Victoria, on Saturday at 7pm.

• The Catholic Action Movement in Gozo will organise its annual ceremony at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary on February 1 at 4.30pm. Parents are invited to bring their baptised babes to be presented to Our Lady during a Mass presided by Bishop Mario Grech.
