A conference entitled Fostering Collaboration in the Knowledge Economy is being organised by the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology on January 31 at the Mcast main campus in Paola.

The conference will explore the theme of collaboration between business, academia and government to support innovative projects, reduce risk, create partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange and open innovation through clustering activities, thereby promoting economic growth, business development and employment opportunities for students.

Mcast said it felt the need to explore avenues of collaboration in order to engage and partner with industry and enterprise – including public and private sector institutions – to ensure that the college responded to the changing needs of Maltese society and the country’s economy.

Registrations, on a first-come, first-served basis, may be e-mailed to Deborah Vella on dv.conference@mcast.edu.mt.
