The Malta Tourism Authority’s German office in Frankfurt recently launched a new web-based version of its official Malta travel guide application, which was introduced in August 2010 in German.
Since then, several versions have been released, including an English one in November 2010, followed by Italian and French versions in December 2011.
From November 2012, this Malta application was available through the iTunes store for iPhone, iPad and iPod users.
The new web-based version now enables users of all other mobile phone or tablet PC systems to access the Malta application.
The MTA Malta travel guide application includes all the important facts about the Maltese islands.
Whether travelling for a holiday or solely interested in Malta, one can download a variety of useful information for free.
The application comprises numerous helpful facts and provides significant locations.
The guide not only serves as a cultural signpost but also as a sports companion, thus ensuring a varied holiday.
Apart from descriptions of different areas, towns and villages, the Malta application contains an activity guide, a fact book, a map with more than 1,000 points of interest, an event calendar and much more.
