A group of Stagecoach students is set to perform a 20-minute musical theatre piece on the main stage of Disneyland Paris in July. They will also take part in an exclusive musical theatre workshop with actors of the famous theme park.

The students’ parents will also be invited to join the visit to watch their children, making it an experience for the whole family.

The students were chosen after a rigorous audition process. Stagecoach senior principal Edward Mercieca said: “We cannot believe it. It’s quite tough to get in and these great students made it!”

In 2013, Stagecoach Malta students took part in a performance of Cats at the Birmingham Indoor Arena and a workshop exchange in Oxford, while 50 students performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London in October.

Mr Mercieca said Stagecoach Malta can offer its students these kinds of opportunities because it forms part of an international franchise and benefits from a huge network and an excellent rapport with its principals.
