DELICATA. On December 26, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA of Vittoriosa, residing in San Ġwann, widow of Saviour, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Anne, Joseph and his wife Ninette, Mary Rose, widow of Anthony D’Amato, Charles and his wife Carmen, Monica and her husband Lawrence Bugeja, Catherine and Raymond; her grandchildren André, Ian Peter, Gilbert, Stephen, Dominic and Eleanor; her sister Ġemma and her sister-in-law Antonia, their families, other relatives and friends. PACE ASCIAK. On December 30, at St James Hospital, Sliema, ELIZABETH, of Sliema, aged 92 years, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister Margaret Vassallo, nèe Pace Asciak, her nieces Simone and her husband Billy and Tania and her husband Mick, both residing in the UK, all other nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St James Hospital, Sliema today at 9.15am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. SAID. On December 28, JOSEPH (better known as JO), aged 64, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his sudden loss his beloved wife Lucienne, née Ebejer, his daughter Philippa and her husband Joseph Arrigo, his son Jonathan and his girlfriend Rachael Wilson, his sisters Carmen and her husband Sebastian Scicluna, and Christine and her husband Rolf Bott, as well as his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and close friends. TEDESCO. On January 1, at Mater Dei Hospital, WILFRED GEORGE, aged 67, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Karmen, his children Fiona and her husband Godwin, David and his wife Chiara and his precious grandchildren Kristina, Martina, Daniel, Lara and Benjamin. He will also be greatly missed by his mother Nellie, his sister Evelyn and husband Alfie and their son Etienne. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Friday at 2pm for Balzan parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Margerita Cemetery, Rabat.
