Christmas means a lot to Mgr George Tabone and his sister, Luigia. His residence in Library Street, Victoria, is a treasure trove of figurines of Baby Jesus that are part of a collection of about 500 figurines, cribs and grottos of various shapes and sizes made of different materials, including clay, ceramics, cloth, bronze, silver and gold. One Baby Jesus figurine is particularly special for Mgr Tabone. It was given to him by Emanuel Bianco, a member of the MUSEUM, after Mgr Tabone delivered the Christmas sermon next to St James church at Independence Square, Victoria, in 1951.
