The school choirs of De La Salle College, Cottonera, and St Joseph Mater Boni Consilii School, Paola, joined forces over the festive season to perform in a Christmas carol service at Vittoriosa parish church.

Boys and girls from both schools sang traditional Christmas carols under the direction of Mro Ray Sciberras and Tania Craus, who teach music at De La Salle College, and of Carmen Esposito, a music teacher at St Joseph School.

At the end of the celebration, Kenneth Vella, headmaster at St Joseph School, and Mariella Vella, headmistress at De La Salle College, thanked Bro Edward Galea, FSC, who co-ordinated the event with the teachers, as well Vittoriosa archpriest Fr Joe Cilia, for accepting to host service at the parish church.

On his part, Fr Cilia thanked the administration of the two schools for organising the event.
