The Department of Counselling at the University’s Faculty for Social Wellbeing, in collaboration with the Malta Association for the Counselling Profession, is holding its first research conference on February 15 at the Dolmen Resort Hotel Qawra. Among the various speakers, Prof. Vivian Lee will give a keynote speech on translational research.

Professionals, academics and students who would like to deliver a presentation during the conference are invited to submit an abstract of not more than 180 words to the department on e-mail anabel.mifsud@um.edu.mt by January 10. The abstract should include the research question, the relevant literature and conceptual frameworks, the methodology and the main findings.

Abstracts received will be reviewed by a scientific committee and prospective presenters will be notified about their participation by January 17.
