What is your most favourite part of Christmas?

I have lots of things I just love about Christmas but the most exciting part would be the Christmas shopping. Decorations, food, presents, I just have as good a time choosing and wrapping my Christmas gifts as I do receiving them!

Which is your best Christmas memory of all time?

My best Christmas memory of all time was last year's Christmas play at my school. I auditioned, and guess what? I got the part!!! We were putting on 'The magical Christmas Jigsaw' and I was one of the children who bought it while at the Christmas market. I loved acting with my friends and am looking forward to this year's Christmas play.

What is the best gift you ever got for Christmas?

The best gift I ever got for Christmas was a keyboard stand for my keyboard which Santa gave me, which perfectly matched the actual keyboard that my parents gave me! I have been playing the piano for two years now and with that present I can make music with my keyboard in my room with headphones- another Christmas gift from my aunt!!

If you had a magic wand, what would you want for Christmas this year?

I don't really need anything. I have a roof over my head, food on my plate, I have loving parents, and lots more. The list is endless. Without a wand, I would already probably be getting lots of Christmas gifts and cards from my family and friends anyway. So if I really did have a wand and I could use it for something, I would make a wish for girls in Pakistan to have a better education. Right now girls are suffering in Pakistan under the Taliban rule and I am aware of it.

Do you believe in Santa Claus?

Let me put it this way- Santa is, to me, a spirit. Old Saint Nicolas. Sure, when someone says Santa, you think of a jolly fat fellow with a beard and a red outfit but has anyone ever seen Santa? No. Then how do you know what he looks like? If you asked me if I beleived in Santa, I would say: Not as other people see him. I see him as a force that spreads joy around the world on Christmas Eve. But don't ruin the joy for the youngsters. Let them believe that on Christmas Eve, Santa comes down the chimneys of all the good boys and girls and put presents under the tree. Let them figure it out for themselves when the time comes.

Which is your favourite Christmas song?

I am not really aware of classic carols like 'Old King Wenceslas'. I only know things like ‘Jingle Bells’ or ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’, but all in all, I don't have a favourite.

How will you be spending Christmas this year?

How I do always. My parents are going to throw a Christmas party at our house and we are going to invite the family. We might also be holding a separate party on Christmas Eve for friends.

What will be your New Year resolutions this year?

I started Italian this school year. I am willing to improve it, as I have always been interested in learning Italian.

What is your favourite holiday season food?

My favourite holiday season food is nothing traditional. Christmas biscuits, muffins, chocolates, stuff like that!

Christmas is a time of giving, will you be doing something charitable this Christmas?

I remember last year I went to the old people's home giving out Christmas Cookies the day after Christmas. I don't have any plans just yet on doing it again.
