A 31-year-old Polish woman who allegedly brought two women to Malta for prostitution purposes was taken to court this morning and kept in remand.

Katarzyna Zaniewskais is pleading not guilty to human trafficking and living off the earnings of prostitution.

She allegedly forced the two women to prostitution and allowed two massage parlours in Birkirkara and Mosta to be used for that purpose.

Police Inspector Louise Calleja testified that the police investigation started after a report filed by one of the two women.
